Blueberry Compote
A very simple but delicious blueberry compote recipe that's bursting with juicy blueberry flavor. Great for topping breakfast and desserts alike!

Ingredients

ounces
blueberries
1 cup

ounces
water
1/4 cup

ounce
granulated sugar
2 tablespoons

lemon
Instructions
Combine blueberries, sugar, and water in a medium saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil.
Squeeze in lemon juice to taste.
Cook until blueberries begin to burst and juices are syrupy.
Pour into a jar to cool. Once cool seal and store in fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Notes
Can also be doubled, tripled, or more and water bath canned for long term shelf storage.
